James

James, who prefers to be called Jimmy, is a helpful, engaging, athletic, humorous and social youth. Jimmy enjoys attending school and obtains good grades. Jimmy loves to be active and shares that he would like to be on a football and basketball team; he enjoys camping, fishing, bike riding, swimming and hiking.  Jimmy also likes to watch sports on TV.  Jimmy states he would like to learn to hunt some day.  He reports that he would like to have a mom and a dad and would like another child in the home.  It is recommended that Jimmy not be placed with any same aged or younger children. He states that he would like to live in the city as he reports that there is more to do in a city.  Jimmy has a great appetite and the only food he states that he does not like is "rice". He enjoys learning how to cook and bake. Jimmy enjoys animals and states he would like to have a dog. Jimmy would do best in a highly structured home, with caregivers who have experience with parenting children with challenging behaviors and who have a consistent routine, while allowing time to experience new things. James would benefit from a therapeutic foster/adoptive family that will help him understand how to take his current skills and apply in a family setting. Are you the right fit for Jimmy?
