Alexandria (Alex)

Alexandria, who also goes by Alex, has a strong desire to be adopted by a family that values spending time together. Although not a deal breaker, Alex would like a home with other children so that she has siblings.  She loves animals and would like a home with pets if possible.

Alex has been working hard to strengthen her independent living and social skills. Some recent accomplishments from the past year include working her first summer job, getting a bank account, developing money management skills, scheduling appointments, and working on basic cooking skills. Alex learns best with patience and repetition, so a family that can support her continued growth is important.

Alex thrives with reassurance and attention from caregivers, having routines and structure help Alex feel safe and stable. A home with consistent expectations and accountability will help to develop her maturity level.

The ideal home will be able to provide Alex with stability, reassurance, guidance, and the ongoing development of her independent living skills, while also meeting her emotional and developmental needs. Alex thrives with love, laughter, and empathy. Can your family offer these wonderful qualities to Alex?
